LESStress Programs
Today, far too many employees, health conscious or not, are prone to a host of health risks including a poor diet and lack of exercise. Compounded by increasing levels of stress at home and work, this often leads to injury, illness, chronic pain, insomnia and other health disorders. For employers, that means greater employee absenteeism and tardiness, lowered productivity and growing job dissatisfaction, all of which impact bottom-line results.
Alternative health programs that apply stress management techniques can counter these risk factors and provide positive returns for both employees and employers. Indeed, current research indicates that “healthy” organizations with policies that promote worker health are most often the organizations with a healthy bottom line. Leaders in government, health care and business are taking note. In fact, in the health care field where 75 percent of patient visits are directly or indirectly related to stress, physicians are now recognizing and recommending that psychological and behavioral interventions be integrated into their routine medical care.
Bhumi's develops customized stress management seminars and programs for businesses of all sizes. Programs are conducted on site at your location by Director Harriet Russell. Sessions can be arranged as half days, full days and session series. Our programs incorporate a variety of techniques in a seminar format that include:
- Mind-Body Awareness Methods
- Conflict Resolution Techniques
- Stress Management Techniques
